Passengers arriving in the United States use the arrivals level of the international terminal. Passengers exit the plane and follow a hallway down to the arrivals level, where they will find escalators.
Passengers entering the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and immigration processing area are greeted by natural light and a high, softly curved ceiling. There are 40 passport-control service desks in this open area, as well as an art exhibit featuring ultra-high-definition video footage of the United States.

The baggage claim area is the next stop on the arrivals level. These seven carousels will receive baggage for Atlanta-bound travelers and connecting passengers arriving at Concourse F, as well as Atlanta-bound passengers arriving at Concourse E.
On Concourse F, right past baggage claim, there is a transition space. Passengers on their way to Atlanta will enter the arrivals area immediately away.

Passengers with connecting flights to other U.S. destinations should proceed to the luggage recheck desks on the left side of the terminal.

Family, friends, and others can meet Atlanta-bound guests arriving on international flights at concourses E and F in the arrivals hall. Outside the arrivals hall is the ground transportation area, passenger pickup curb, and hourly parking facilities.

Following signs to the Concourse F Plane Train station or the pedestrian walkway, connecting travellers should recheck their luggage. Both link to the domestic terminal and the rest of the airport concourses (T, A, B, C, D, and E).

You can take the shuttle bus between the domestic and international terminals, which runs frequently from outside both terminals. It takes about 12 minutes to get there.

You can ride the Plane Train, which stops at all concourses and terminals, or walk through the subterranean Transportation Mall if you have a boarding card to clear security at the opposing terminal.

The international terminal is located on Atlanta Airport’s east side and is housed in the same structure as Concourse F. The Plane Train and underground corridors connect it to the other concourses and the domestic terminal.

Only Delta allows you to check in at the opposite terminal and has check-in facilities at both domestic and international terminals. If you plan to return to the airport and park or take public transportation, keep in mind that your luggage will be returned to the terminal where your flight landed.

Six private nursing pods with a diaper-changing table and an electric outlet for pumping are available at Atlanta Airport. T7, B5, D34, E Centerpoint, F5 and F arrivals have these.
